Attack on me was unintentional: BJP leader Jolly

The overseas affairs convenor of Bharatiya Janata Party ( BJP), Vijay Jollyhas said that yesterday's attack on him was accidental. The BJPleader said that the incident hasn't made him sad and will be returning back to India happily. BJPleader Jolly, who arrived in Kathmandu to attend the CPN-UML General Convention, was hit by a water bottle thrown during a clash between the dissenting UML cadres and police at Bhrikutimandap on Thursday. Speaking during a programme organised by Reporter's Club on Friday, leader Jolly said the attack on him was not preplanned. "The attack upon me was in no way planned, the water bottle hurled by the agitating cadres hit me accidentally," he said, "This incident has not made me sad." Jolly further remarked that the denial of entrance to the cadres in a convention being held in a small space disgruntled the cadres. Joly said, "Every cadre wanted to enter inside. It was impossible in a small venue." The Indian leader said that talks with the top leaders of CPN-UML had already taken place regarding the incident.
